Sindecuse Health Center achieves re-accreditation

Sindecuse Health Center was surveyed in March by an Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care expert in quality care standards. Accreditation is granted for a three-year period and must be renewed regularly.

Get a Healthy Start

Health center staff will be at orientation events for incoming students in May and June, eager to answer your questions about insurance, ongoing care and more. Students and their families should review the information on our Welcome page to gather the forms and submit the information requested. We're ready to help you get a healthy start at WMU.

Insurance update for WMU employees

WMU employees with Blue Cross Blue Shield PPO plan insurance visiting Sindecuse and similarly-designated community health centers will not have deductibles or co-insurance applied toward physical therapy, radiology studies (X-rays) or lab tests processed at the health center.

Shingrix Vaccine Available

Sindecuse Health Center now administers Shingrix, a two-dose vaccine to prevent shingles in adults aged 50 years and older. The new vaccine provides more protection than the previous Zostavax vaccine. Patients should plan to receive two doses of the vaccine separated by two to six months. For more information, contact the center at (269) 387-3287.
