The fourth annual Michigan Autism Conference will bring leading scientists and treatment practitioners to the Radisson Plaza Hotel Wednesday through Friday, Sept. 14-16.
The input session is set for 3 to 5 p.m. Monday, Sept. 12, in the first-floor lounge of the Bernhard Center.
John Kusku, Joseph Hamilton, Tyler Merren and Asya Miller, all graduates of WMU, and Jen Armbruster, a former WMU instructor, are competing in the goalball competitions at the Paralympic Games, which run through Sept. 18.
The scholarships, totaling $6,000, will be presented to Aaron McClendon and Emma Stuba at an awards ceremony in October.
William Pickard was sworn in Sept. 6 and will take his place at the board table when WMU trustees convene for a formal session at 11 a.m. Wednesday, Sept. 7.
