'Mamma Mia' comes to Miller Auditorium

KALAMAZOO—The national tour of "Mamma Mia!" returns to Western Michigan University's Miller Auditorium at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday and Wednesday, Dec. 10 and 11.

Seen by over 50 million people around the world, "Mamma Mia!" is celebrating over 4,000 performances in its 12th year on Broadway and remains one of Broadway’s top selling musicals. The original West End production of "Mamma Mia!" is now in its 13th year and has celebrated over 5,000 performances in London. The international tour has visited more than 50 cities and has been seen by 4 million people.

Leading the cast of 30 is Georgia Kate Haege as Donna Sheridan, the independent single mother whose carefree past catches up with her on the eve of her daughter’s wedding. Bride-to-be Sophie Sheridan is played by Chelsea Williams; her fiancé, Sky, is played by Chris Stevens.

"Mamma Mia!" at Miller Auditorium is part of the PNC Broadway in West Michigan Series. Tickets are on sale now and range from $35 to $63. They can be purchased online at millerauditorium.com, by calling (269) 387-2300 or (800) 387-2312, or in person at the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office.

A 15 percent discount is available to all WMU faculty and staff, and a 50 percent discount is available to WMU students. Discounted tickets may be purchased by phone or in person, and a valid Bronco ID is required at the time of pickup. Group discounts are available at (269) 387-2312.
