KALAMAZOO—An on-campus reception will be held later this month to formally welcome Western Michigan University's new dean of the College of Education and Human Development.

Dr. Ming Li, whose appointment as dean was effective Sept. 1, will be welcomed and introduced to the campus community from 4 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 30, in the second-floor lobby of Sangren Hall.

The event is free and open to the public.

In addition to welcoming Li, the reception will also serve as a backdrop to announce the completion of two of the three art installations commissioned for Sangren Hall. Both artists whose works have already been installed will be recognized at the event.
