Eberling of Palos Hills, Ill., completed her second season in the sport with two World Cup medals, winning her second world championship as the brakeman teamed with pilot Elana Mayers.

Eberling remains a hopeful for the Sochi Olympics in 2014, beginning with the upcoming team camp at Lake Placid and the push championships.

"We're definitely living in a full Olympic atmosphere," said Eberling. "We're competitive and we try to push each other to get better at all times, and they've been role models to me during the process."
