Special surplus furniture sale to be held at Bigelow Hall

KALAMAZOO—After closing two of its residence halls, Western Michigan University has scheduled a three-day sale to reduce its inventory of used bunk beds, dressers and desks, some of which are available as sets.

The sale is open to the public and will take place in the now-closed Bigelow Hall, which is located behind the Bernhard Center and accessed via North Dormitory Road on the main campus.

Sale dates and times

  • Thursday, July 18, 4 to 7 p.m.;
  • Friday, July 19, 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.; and
  • Saturday, July 20, 9 a.m. to noon.

Those interested in making a purchase may pay in cash or by check or credit card (MasterCard, Visa or Discover).
