Local candidates in upcoming election to appear at campus forum

Get information on candidates ahead of voting Nov. 6.

KALAMAZOO—The public is invited to meet several candidates for local, state and federal office and obtain voter information on the upcoming Nov. 6 general election at a free event Thursday, Oct. 25, on the campus of Western Michigan University.

Sponsored by the Western Student Association, local candidates will be available from 7 to 9 p.m. in 157 Bernhard Center. Tables will be set up for candidates to display information and speak directly with students. WSA will be providing refreshments to candidates and attendees. The event also will feature general nonpartisan voter information.

The following is a list of confirmed participants, and additional candidates are expected to attend.
