Business Librarian: The Haworth College of Business librarian provides specialized reference and research consultations in business-related fields, as well as assisting students with face-to-face and electronic reference services and library-research instruction. 

Business Study Abroad: Studying abroad can be one of the most rewarding experiences of your college career. The business study abroad office at WMU offers information on all available short-term and semester-long trips, including information on various programs all over the world and scholarship opportunities. Stop by and meet with an advisor on the second floor of the Haworth College of Business during walk-in hours:

  • Mondays and Wednesdays: 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 6:30 p.m.
  • Tuesdays and Thursdays: 1 to 6:30 p.m.
  • Fridays: 1 to 5 p.m.

Café: Located on the first floor of Schneider Hall, Schneider Café is the perfect place to grab a snack or cup of coffee between classes. Schneider Café offers a variety of options to provide healthy food choices to the Haworth College of Business community and accepts many payment options—including meal plans for on-campus and commuter students, dining dollars and pay-as-you-go using credit card or cash.  During fall and spring semesters, Schneider Café is open Monday through Thursday from 8 a.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Friday from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

Classrooms: In addition to numerous course instruction classrooms, specialized classrooms include the Greenleaf Trust Trading Room, the Harold Zeigler Interactive Sales Lab and the Cisco Networking Lab, designed to offer an interactive and comprehensive business education experience.

Computing Center: Our Kellogg Computing Lab offers students ready access to technology needs. Regular hours each semester are augmented just before and during finals week for student use. Departmental Offices: Schneider Hall houses five academic units—accountancy, business information systems, finance & commercial law, management and marketing. Each department has a specialized, functional office located in Schneider Hall available to all students. Visit the offices on the third floor of Schneider Hall to learn more about career opportunities and major and minor programs.

Duplicating: Convenient on-site center in the college of business available to all students. Located on the third floor of Schneider Hall, open Monday through Friday from 7:45 a.m.  to 5 p.m., students can use various services including printing on color paper, three-hole-punch, and creating books, binders and posters. Put together your next class project with help from the duplicating center in the college of business! Copy prices for students:

  • Black and White Copy - $0.10
  • Color Copy - $0.15
  • 11 x 17 Poster - $0.25
  • Book Binding (Soft or Spiral) - $1.00

Faculty Offices: Business faculty offices are easily accessible for students to attend office hours or meet individually with professors. Your professors are here to help—don’t feel intimidated to make an appointment or go during office hours to get help with assignments, studying for exams, general career advice or help navigating college. All offices are located on the third floor of Schneider Hall—ask your professor or stop by your major’s departmental office for specific faculty office hours.

Lactation Suite: A private and comfortable area designed specifically for the needs of nursing mothers. Located in the student study lounge on the second floor of Schneider Hall, stop by the Dean’s Office across the hall to pick up the key to the facility.

Meeting Room: Private meeting space is available for students to work on group projects, meet with study groups or a mentor located accessibly within the college of business. Located in the study lounge on the second floor of Schneider Hall, the space is first come first serve for all students.

Small Business Development Center: The Small Business Development Center works with both Haworth College of Business students and members of the greater Kalamazoo community to help develop a small business assistance program that promotes business startup and growth. Make an appointment for a free consultation in the center's offices on the third floor of Schneider Hall, next to the Zhang Career Center. As a WMU student, you can also attend an informational business workshop free of charge. Contact the office for more information at (269) 387-6004.

Study Lounge: A newly renovated student space, the study lounge is dedicated to quiet study and designed as an area for students to focus on assignments and studying within the college of business. Take advantage of the student study lounge to meet with a study group or study for an exam. During fall and spring semesters, the study lounge is open during the following times:

  • Monday through Thursday, 7 a.m. until 11 p.m.
  • Friday, 7 a.m. until 5 p.m.
  • Sunday, 5 p.m. until 10 p.m.

Fun Fact: All furniture in the new study lounge was donated by the Haworth Company—the company founded by G.W. Haworth, our college's namesake!

Zhang Career Center: Dedicated space and staff for professional development and career advising. Hundreds of companies recruit WMU students through the Zhang Career Center—drop in and see an advisor to have your resume reviewed, practice interviewing, or learn more about professional internship and externship opportunities.
