Input/Output is a response to the transmission and reception of information and knowledge in our current age. Plugs, adapters, and other devices make the necessary connection between electric current, radio waves, satellite feeds, and the new tools we now use to communicate. Executed in an allegorical and primitive fashion, this work reflects an interpretation of the concept that information and knowledge is gathered and assimilated, then sent outward as creative output at a later time. This simple duality of input/output, positive/negative, incoming/outgoing, and even man/woman all exist within the context of this work as it is placed on the campus.
