Payment Options


WMU accepts payments by electronic checking or savings online. WMU uses a third party credit card processor, Touchnet, to process credit or debit card payments. Touchnet accepts American Express, Discover, Visa, and MasterCard. A convenience fee of 2.75 percent or $3, whichever is larger, is charged by Touchnet to process the transaction. Credit or debit card payments on student accounts can only be made online.  

Students login in at using your Bronco NetID and password and select the Payment and Account Information channel. Authorized users may make payments at

Students may establish authorized users to access their Account Information. Students will need their Bronco NetID and password to set up Authorized users at: in the Payment & Account Information Channel. Once the student has established the authorized user, information will be sent to the authorized user via email regarding accessing the account.

Mail With Coupon:

Mail your check and payment coupon in the envelope provided or address blank envelope to: Western Michigan University, 9400 Reliable Parkway, Chicago, IL 60686-0094. No credit or debit card payments can be made via the mail.

Mail Without Coupon:

Mail your check to the Cashiering office: Western Michigan University, 1903 West Michigan Ave, Cashiering Office, 1083 Seibert Administration Building, Kalamazoo, MI 49008-5282.

Electronic Check Processing:

Checks directly received at WMU will be securely processed electronically, under the rules governed by the National Automated Clearing House Association and the Federal Reserve Bank. Your cancelled checks will not be returned. The transaction will appear on your bank statement. Sending payment by check constitutes acceptance of these terms.

International Wire Transfer:

Western Michigan University has partnered with peerTransfer to streamline the tuition payment process for our international students.  peerTransfer, offers excellent foreign exchange rates, allowing you to pay in your home currency (in most cases) and save a significant amount of money, compared to traditional banks.  You will be able to track the progress of your payment throughout the transfer process via a student dashboard and you will also be notified via email when your payment is received by Western Michigan University.

Payments can be made with cash or checks in the Bronco Express Service Team office, located in the Bernhard Center.
