Streaming videos unavailable Sunday morning

Streaming videos hosted on Mediasite, as well as videos submitted using TechSmith, will be unavailable from 7 a.m. until noon on Sunday, July 24. Questions should be directed to the Help Desk at (269) 387-4357, option 1.


Techsmith Relay is being replaced; workshops for Mediasite Desktop Recorder have been scheduled

Techsmith Relay will not be available after June 1, 2017 and all students, faculty and staff using it should be preparing to move to the new product. Initial workshops have been scheduled in January. More information may be found at wmich.edu/it/newsmediasite.

My Mediasite unavailable early Saturday morning

Mediasite problems SaturdayResolved

We were informed by Mediasite that on Saturday, Aug. 12 at approximately 6 a.m. the Mediasite Video Cloud services experienced a technical issue that caused a persistent outage. The outage impacted all Mediasite sites being hosted in the Mediasite Video Cloud (which includes WMU) and consequently those sites were not accessible and playback was unavailable. At this time the problem appears to have been corrected and Mediasite is again working.
