Adobe Connect account end of service June 30, 2019

Starting Sunday, June 30, 2019 Adobe Connect will no longer be made available through the Faculty Technology Center. If you are currently using this software to deliver presentations, online training materials, Web conferencing, learning modules or for desktop sharing you'll need to work with the Faculty Technology Center to transition to Webex.

Please note that any Adobe Connect content you've recorded or have linked from Adobe Connect should be downloaded before June 30. Information on downloading Adobe Connect content can be found on the FTC website https://wmich.edu/facultytechnology/resources/webconferencing

Cisco Webex coming this fall

Cisco Webex will be available to all students, faculty and staff this fall. Webex provides; web conferencing, personal meeting rooms, screen sharing, interactive training environments, large-scale online events, and integration with W-Exchange email.

Cisco Webex Meetings is available to all students, faculty, and staff, and allows collaboration with colleagues, friends, and family.

Webex services provide web conferencing, personal meeting rooms, screen sharing, interactive training environments, large-scale online events and integration with W-Exchange

Cisco Webex global issuesResolved

Cisco is reporting global service issues with Webex that are impacting its customers including Western Michigan University. Issues being reported at WMU are intermittent at the moment.

Cisco has reported users being unable to connect to audio in Webex. Cisco is currently working on resolving the issue.
