UPDATE: remind.com has issued a statement that there will be no service disruption for Verizon Wireless customers. SMS notification will continue to work without any changes.

The Office of Information Technology Help Desk has been using remind.com to send SMS notifications for outages that affect network or email access. Starting onMonday, January 28, SMS notifications will no longer work for Verizon Wireless customers. We have selected a new service for SMS notifications that has been submitted for product review and contract review. If you would like to continue receiving notifications for outages while the replacement product is under review, please follow the instructions below to enable push notifications or email notifications for our current remind.com service.
