About two-factor authentication

Two-factor authentication, or 2FA, is now available to all enrolled students. 2FA provides an extra layer of security when logging in with your Bronco NetID. It requires something you know—your password—along with something you have—your mobile device—when logging in to GoWMU, Elearning and more. Beginning Jan. 22, 2020, 2FA will be required for all enrolled students. At that timeyou will be required to enroll before you may log in.

Beginning Jan. 22 students will be required to use two-factor authentication (2FA) as part of the WMU Login process. 2FA is an extra layer of security that helps protect personal and financial information by sending a notification to your mobile device so that you may verify that it is you logging in. Students - take a few minutes to enroll now in 2FA so that you are not disrupted on Jan. 22.

Once you enroll you will be automatically entered to win a Bluetooth speaker or portable USB charger. Winners will be selected randomly each week through Dec. 15.
