Beware of Phishing attempts

There is a scam email hitting inboxes on campus that says it is from the Web Mail Account team that contains two links. This is a phishing attempt. Do not click the links. Delete those messages if they make it into your inbox.

W-Exchange app launcher

There is currently an issue with W-Exchange that is causing the app launcher icon (aka the Waffle icon) to not display all W-Exchange apps. You can access all available applications by returning to the W-Exchange start page. If you are unable to get to the W-Exchange start page, please contact the OIT Help Desk.

Recent changes in Elearning causing some problems with email

Due to recent infrastructure changes in Elearning, some legitimate emails sent from Elearning are being marked by W-Exchange as being potentially fraudulent. The warning includes a line at the top of the message that looks like this: "This sender failed our fraud detection checks and may not be who they appear to be". The Office of Information Technology is working with Elearning to resolve this issue.

Some users may see the error message "Unable to read the configuration" when logging in to W-Exchange. You can use the App Selector in the top left corner to access the desired application, such as Mail, Calendar, People, etc. Our technicians are aware of the problem and are working with Microsoft to resolve the issue. Questions should be directed to the Help Desk at (269) 387-4357 option 1.
