W-Exchange Shared Calendars

The Help Desk has received reports of errors when trying to access previously established shared calendars on the web version of W-Exchange. The issue can be resolved by clearing the web browser cache. 


wmich.edu/email URL has changed to wmich.edu/wexchange

Migration to the new WMU email has been completed and the URL pointing to the product support pages has changed from wmich.edu/email to wmich.edu/wexchange. If you have pages referencing them as /email, please change to the new URL.


Connecting to a Time Server On Campus

Computers with incorrect date and time have had issues authenticating with W-Exchange. Computers that are primarily used on campus should sync to time.wmich.edu to ensure they receive the correct date and time. This is not required for computers that are joined to WADE.

W-Exchange app launcher

There is currently an issue with W-Exchange that is causing the app launcher icon (aka the Waffle icon) to not display all W-Exchange apps. You can access all available applications by returning to the W-Exchange start page. If you are unable to get to the W-Exchange start page, please contact the OIT Help Desk.

Microsoft is currently experiencing technical issues which may prevent access to the W-Exchange login page. Microsoft is aware of the issue and working to resolve the problem. This issue only affects W-Exchange access via the web, email access using an email client will continue to function as normal. Questions, or problems, should be directed to the Technology Help Desk at (269) 387-4357, option 1.
