Update Chrome Browser Now to Avoid Recent Security Exploits
Posted by Gary Barton on March 8, 2019

Make sure your Google Chrome browser is up to date to avoid a recent exploit that attackers are actively using. Double-check that you’re running the newest version of the Google Chrome browser (72.0.3626.121). If an update is required, make sure to restart the browser for the fix to take effect.

To launch Chrome’s update tool:
  • Windows users, open the browser and select “About Google Chrome,” which you’ll find in the Help section within the primary drop-down menu.
  • Mac users, open the browser and select “About Google Chrome,” which you’ll find in the Chrome menu item within the primary drop-down menu.
Your browser should then automatically update for you if there’s a more recent version to download. Please direct questions to the Help Desk at (269) 387-4357.
