Microsoft updates

Monthly Microsoft security updates will be installed on servers between 12:01 and 6 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21 and Monday, Dec. 22. This may affect Windows and Mac machines that utilize services on these servers. If you experience problems accessing your services Monday morning, you may need to reboot your desktop. Questions should be directed to the Help Desk at (269) 387-4357, option 1.

Banner, ImageNow, ODS/EDW, PeopleSoft HR, PeopleSoft FS, and Kronos will be unavailable beginning from 5 to 8 a.m. on Sunday, Dec. 21. Questions, or problems, should be directed to the Help Desk at (269) 387-4357, option 1. 


Davis power outage

Our electricians are working in Davis hall, there will be power and network issues in Davis, French and Zimmerman from 12:30 to 3 pm today.


Intermittent Connectivity* Update*Resolved

UPDATE 3: 
CHHS second and third floor connectivity issues have been resolved. Our technicians will be working on the fourth floor next.

UPDATE 2: 
Issues in Spindler and Garneau Hall have been resolved. Technicians will resume work on connectivity issues in Zimmerman and the College of Health and Human Services tomorrow. We have also determined that connectivity issues in Faunce are wireless only. 

UPDATE: 
We are also experiencing issues in Faunce.

Our technicians have resolved a majority of the connectivity issues on campus. We are still experiencing issues at College of Health and Human services, Zimmerman, Garneau and Spindler. 


Certain services may be unavailable due to a campus wide power outage. Technicians are currently working to recover access issues caused by this outage.

Externally our Western Michigan University www. sites are still unavailable due to a Denial of Service attack. Our technicians are working with Merit to resolve this issue.
