Anyone using WMU's VPN between 6 and 7 a.m. on Thursday, Nov. 13 will experience a disconnect while technicians perform work on the VPN. Anyone disconnected should be automatically reconnected after a 30 second interruption. Questions should be directed to the Help Desk at (269) 387-4357, option 1. 

Two factor authentication now available for VPN users

Two factor authentication is an extra step in the login process that adds an additional layer to confirm your identity. Its purpose is to reduce fraud risks by making it harder for hackers to obtain access to your account. WMU is now offering two factor authentication as an option on both the internal and external VPN. Starting May 15, 2019 the two-factor authenticated (2FA) VPN connection will be rolled into, the off-campus access point for most users. All access through that connection will require 2FA.
