Banner 9 Two-Factor Authentication

The Banner 9 test application now requires two-factor authentication (2FA). On Monday, May 20, 2FA will be enabled and required for the Banner 9 production application. Users will use their current Banner 8 2FA authentication method to connect to Banner 9. Duo Push is the recommended authentication method when using 2FA. Multiple enterprise systems, including Banner and PeopleSoft, will be unavailable 4-11 a.m. Sunday, June 23.

  • Banner SSO Manager and SSB: 4:30—7 a.m.
  • Banner INB: 4:30—9:30 a.m.
  • Banner Admin Pages: 7—9:30 a.m.
  • Banner Workflow, PeopleSoft HR and Financials apps: 8—10:30 a.m.
