Scheduled update to the University Computer Center core is Monday, Oct 15. Downtime for this update will be 3-4 a.m. First and second floor workstations and labs in the UCC will be down for a short time during the update.

Intermittent W-Exchange IssuesResolved

Microsoft is currently experiencing issues with Office 365 sign-in, which may affect the ability to log into W-Exchange. Technicians are currently working with Microsoft to resolve the issue.


Increased volume of "spoofed" email addresses

We are seeing an increased volume of email messages from external senders (outside of WMU) that are impersonating members of our WMU community. These messages are designed to deceive you in to thinking you are corresponding with a colleague, supervisor, or a high-ranking person of authority at the university. Be cautious if you receive messages of this nature, and be sure to check the email address to ensure it is from a WMU sender. Any suspicious activity can be forwarded as an attachment to abuse@wmich.edu for review. Questions should be directed to the Technology Help Desk at (269) 387-4357, option 1.
