Percussion & Color Guard Precamp 2008
Guard Pre-Camp - Saturday, July 26, 2008 from 10am-1pm.
Drumline Pre-Camp - Saturday, August 2, 2008 from 10am-4pm.
Color Guard
The pre-season Color Guard Camp will be held Saturday, July 26 from 10 AM to 1 PM at the Dalton Center (WMU School of Music). Attendance is not mandatory
but is strongly encouraged for all Color Guard Members. At this session, you will get to meet returning and auditioning members for the 2008
season along with this year's leadership staff. You will meet instructor Kyle Keiser and get more familiar with the audition process and information
about the Bronco Marching Band. All equipment will be provided and we will spend time learning basics the BMB way, along with routines and
series that are anticipated to be used in our performances. Please register below!
Percussion
The pre-season Percussion Camp will be held Saturday, August 2, 2008 from 10 AM to 4 PM at the Dalton Center (WMU School of Music). The pre-camp is not mandatory,
but it will be helpful in preparation for the upcoming season. We will be working on fundamentals and this season's exercises. The day's activities will be helpful
to all prospects auditioning at band camp, including veterans. All instruments and equipment will be provided. However, if you have your own sticks and mallets,
please bring them to the pre-camp. Lunch will not be provided; therefore, participants should bring money or their own lunch. There are several restaurants within

Percussion Warm-ups
Percussion auditions will take place within the first few days of band camp. All auditions are based on technique, sound quality, and will be implemented in the
warmups which are available for download Here. It is in your own best interest to memorize
and be able to mark time to each of the exercises before pre-camp. This will strengthen your playing and increase your chances of making this drumline.
