At the end of your program you will graduate from the college of your academic curriculum. Your official WMU transcript will name you as a graduate of the Lee Honors College, list the specific honors courses you have taken, and indicate the title of your thesis. You also will be recognized in the graduation program and have a notation on your diploma. Among the honors our students typically receive while at WMU are the opportunity for induction into nationally recognized honors societies: Phi Beta Kappa, Phi Kappa Phi, Golden Key, Alpha Lambda Delta, and Mortar Board.
Since our graduates are from all the fields of academic study, many have entered America’s most prestigious graduate schools, and go on to become successful engineers, outstanding teachers, top-level managers, performing artists of renown, and noted practitioners in healthcare. Our graduates have won such prestigious awards as the Gates-Cambridge, the Wilson and the Danforth, and have become Fulbright and National Science Foundation Fellows.
