Teach For America is the national corps of outstanding recent college graduates
of all academic majors who commit two years to teach in urban and rural public

children. This site provides information on how to get involved in the program.
Michigan Science Teachers Association

MSTA was established in 1953 and has continuously promoted the development and
advancement of science education in Michigan. It is recognized as one of the
largest, most vigorous and most respected state science associations in the
United States. The site facilitates the public dissemination of knowledge and
materials related to science and science education programs.
National Science Teachers Association

The National Science Teachers Association (NSTA) is the largest organization
in the world committed to promoting excellence and innovation in science teaching
and learning for all. The site has a wealth of information for pre-service teachers
looking to build on their science content background.
National Middle School Association

Since its inception in 1973, the National Middle School Association (NMSA) has
been a voice for those committed to the education and developmental needs of
young adolescents. NMSA is the only national education association dedicated
exclusively to the growth of middle level education. NMSA provides Professional
Development, journals, books, research and other valuable information to assist
educators on an ongoing basis. Of special interest to pre-service teachers is
the Collegiate Middle Level Association. A professional education organization
specifically for college students preparing to become middle level teachers.
CMLA is an affiliate of NMSA.
Teach for Tomorrow

Teach for Tomorrow (TfT) is an interactive professional development program
designed by educators focusing on Internet technology integration in the K-12
curriculum. TfT exposes teachers to quality educational online resources in
the context of effective online activities. TfT helps teachers understand how
to use Internet technology and content for instruction, presentation, lesson
planning, research, and collaboration.
