Awards Schedule

All awards will be based on the students overall GPA  level as follows:

New Paper Engineering and Paper Science Students who have qualified for an introductory award will receive $2,000.  Chemical Engineering majors who choose either the Pulp and Paper or Pollution Prevention option and Paper Engineering minors who have qualified for an introductory award will receive $1,500.

Continuing students:
Paper Engineering and Paper Science majors are eligible to receive 100% of the scholarship award according to the award schedule, dependent upon availability of funds.

Chemical Engineering majors who choose either the Pulp and Paper or Pollution Prevention option are eligible to receive 75% of the scholarship award according to the award schedule, dependent upon availability of funds.

Students with a minor in Paper Engineering are eligible to receive 75% of the scholarship award according to the award schedule, dependent upon availability of funds.

Out-of-State/ Non-Resident Students will be eligible for the introductory award plus the difference in tuition for one year only.  Please visit http://www.wmich.edu/wmuptf/scholarship_nonresident.html for more information.
