Scholarships Eligibility Requirements

For all undergraduate students:

  • Registered as a Paper Engineering major
  • Registered as a full-time student at WMU (12+ credit hours/winter or spring semester or 6+ credit hours/for summer I and II semester)
  • Registered for at least one paper course (three credit hours: as required by the program curriculum) during the semester in which a scholarship is awarded.

Continuing students:

  • A minimum overall GPA of 2.7 is required.

New students:

  • A minimum ACT score of 24 composite
  • The ability to be placed in Math 1180 or above for the first semester of study and the placement in Chemistry 1100 or above
  • Academic standing as top entering student by ACT composite score of 36 as perfect, following in descending order.

Transfer students:

  • A minimum overall GPA of 2.7 is required.
  • The ability to be placed in Math 1180 or above for the first semester of study and the placement in Chemistry 1100 or above.

PTF scholarships are awarded on a funds available basis for US and Canadian citizens only.
