A PTF Out-of-State/Non-Resident Scholarship is a financial award that in combination with the WMU Presidential Gold or Silver Award is designed to assist a student not residing in the state of Michigan during her/his first year of education as a Major in the Paper Science and Paper Engineering programs at WMU. This award is based upon the availability of funds and equals the difference between Resident and Non-Resident tuition for a full-time undergraduate student (to a maximum of 15 credit hours per semester.) These awards are paid in two payments, half during the fall and half during the spring semesters of the program, assuming all eligibility requirements are satisfied. If eligibility requirements as described herein, as well as all other university requirements for enrollment and scholarship eligibility, are not satisfied, the payments will not be made and the student will be responsible for all fees, costs and charges associated with his/her enrollment.
