Paid student leadership positions available

Help new students acquaint themselves to campus.
KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University students who would like to help new students acquaint themselves to campus or work with mentors to organize academic and social activities are encouraged to apply for open positions as orientation leaders or First-Year Seminar student instructors.

First-Year Experience Programs will hold an informational meeting about these positions at 8 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 6, in Room 208 of the Bernhard Center. Applications are being accepted through 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 16, through the FYE Office in Room 2070 of the Seibert Administration Building.

The orientation student leader position is compensated with a salary of $3,200 in addition to on-campus summer I room and board and Student Recreation Center membership. The First-Year Seminar student instructor position is compensated with $1,100 during the fall semester of 2012.
