Farmers Feast features free local food and speakers

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University students have organized a free meal and program on promoting locally sourced food.

The Farmers Feast is 6 to 9 p.m. Friday, Dec. 2, in the Bernhard Center Ballroom, with a menu developed by WMU Catering's Executive Chef Nick Petruska and featuring local produce. The event is open to the public free of charge.

The event is sponsored by the Campus Beet, a registered student organization, with support from WMU Dining Services. Visit Dining Services at wmich.edu/dining.
