New Canadian studies minor approved

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University students will have an opportunity to utilize the expertise of faculty who have research interests in Canada and learn more about the country under a new minor in Canadian studies approved by WMU trustees at their meeting Wednesday, Sept. 28.

The new program will have 18 hours of courses and will be available through the Department of History in fall semester 2012. Interested students should contact Dr. Vincent Deroches, associate professor of foreign languages, at vincent.deroches@wmich.edu.
