Paper deadline extended for first health information technology conference

KALAMAZOO--The deadline to submit research or position papers as part of the first International Conference on Health Information Technology Advancement has been extended to Thursday, Aug. 25.

Scholars are invited to submit papers on nearly 30 topics related to the conference, set for Oct. 28 at Western Michigan University and put on by the WMU Center for Health Information Technology Advancement and the Relationship-Centered Care Network of South West Michigan.

The conference committee is calling for papers in English and containing original and unpublished results and six to 12 pages in American Psychological Association format. Papers longer than 12 pages are subject to revision.

Accepted papers will be published in the Transactions of the ICHITA-2011 and high quality papers will be selected for publication in a special issue of the International Journal of Healthcare Information Management and Informatics.
