Major Info Night runs from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26. Brief presentations from each academic department will acquaint students with all five departments and majors within the college. The event is in Room 1120 of Schneider Hall. Immediately following the presentations, students, faculty and staff are invited for pizza and refreshments in the Schneider Hall lobby. Business Bash is from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Thursday, Jan. 27, in the Schneider Hall Study Lounge. Students may drop in anytime to learn about joining business student organizations, participating in study abroad opportunities and taking part in Career Center programs. Event sponsors, Target and Domino's Pizza, will provide T-shirts and free pizza at the event. "This is an excellent opportunity for new students to become acquainted with business majors and meet faculty and student organization leaders," says Linda Ickes, Career Center director and co-advisor of the Student Leadership Advisory Board. "The event encourages students to become engaged in career development programs early on in a fun venue.
