WMU readies for start of spring semesterJan. 2, 2011 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University offices are open beginning Monday, Jan. 3, following a 10-day closure for the holidays. Many campus services remain on reduced hours through the Jan. 10 start of spring semester. Public events on campus Jan. 3-9 include Bronco men's and women's basketball games at University Arena. Residence halls reopen at 9 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 8. Spring semester begins at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10. One Stop service center in the Bernhard Center is open 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 5-7 and 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 10-12. Hours for selected University services Bernhard Center and Bronco Mall hours are available on the Bernhard Center website. All facilities and mall stores are on reduced hours through Sunday, Jan. 9. The entire building is closed Saturday, Jan. 8. All facilities and stores resume normal hours Monday, Jan. 10. Campus computing The Help Desk is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 3-7; and closed Jan. 8-9. The Help Desk resumes normal hours at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10. The Mobile Help Desk is closed and reopens Monday, Jan. 10. Bernhard Computing Center in the Bronco Mall is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 3-7, closed Jan. 8-9, and resumes normal hours at 8 a.m. Jan. 10. University Computing Center lab is open 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Jan. 3-7; closed Jan. 8-9; and resumes normal hours at 8 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10. Sindecuse Health Center, including the pharmacy, is open normal hours, 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. weekdays, beginning Monday, Jan. 3. Student Recreation Center is open 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Jan. 3-7; open noon to 7 p.m. Jan. 8-9; and resumes normal hours at 6 a.m. Monday, Jan. 10.
