'Never Let Me Go' comes to Little TheatreDec.. 11, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Western Film Society presents six screenings of the sci-fi drama "Never Let Me Go" Friday through Sunday, Dec. 17-19, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University. Show times for "Never Let Me Go" are Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 and 5 p.m. General admission is $5 and $3 for WMU students with a valid Bronco Card. "Never Let Me Go," nominated for Best Independent Film at the 2010 British Independent Film Awards, is an alternate history story about three friends and the dark secrets they share. Kathy (played by Oscar nominee Carey Mulligan), Ruth (Oscar nominee Keira Knightley) and Tommy (Andrew Garfield) spend their childhood at a seemingly idyllic English boarding school. As they grow up, they're forced to come to terms with the strength of the love they feel for each other, while preparing themselves for a haunting reality that awaits them. The film has a run time of 103 minutes and is rated R for some sexuality and nudity.
