KALAMAZOO--Western Film Society presents six screenings of the romantic comedy "Cyrus" Friday through Sunday, Oct. 29-31, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University.

"Cyrus," an official 2010 selection at both the Sundance and SXSW film festivals, is a comedy about a down-on-his-luck divorcé who finally meets the woman of his dreams, only to discover she has another man in her life--her son. John (played by Oscar-nominated actor John C. Reilly) has all but given up on romance when he unexpectedly meets Molly (Oscar winner Marisa Tomei). After hitting it off, it seems the only thing standing between the two is Molly's son, Cyrus (actor Jonah Hill), who is determined to keep his mother to himself.

Written and directed by Jay and Mark Duplass, the 2010 film is shown in English. It has a run time of 90 minutes and is rated R for offensive language and some sexual material.
