June 18, 2010

KALAMAZOO--Booth applications are now being accepted for Bronco Bash, the annual event welcoming more than 25,000 Western Michigan University students back to campus and to Kalamazoo for the start of the new school year.

Bronco Bash 2010, the 30th-anniversary event, is set for 3 to 7 p.m. Friday, Sept. 10. Festivities will be held at Fountain Plaza, near the University's Miller Auditorium.

More than 400 student organizations, University departments and local businesses are expected to participate in this year's free, public event by handing out information and loads of free stuff. Other features include live music, a food court and novelty entertainment activities.

The early registration deadline for booth space is Friday, July 23. Applications submitted after that date will be assessed a late fee and processed pending available booth space. No applications will be accepted after Aug. 13.

Separate applications are available for affiliates and non-affiliates. Affiliates include WMU Registered Student Organizations, departments and offices. All other local businesses and organizations should complete a non-affiliate application.
