Firth and Moore star in ‘Single Man’April 11, 2010 KALAMAZOO--Western Film Society presents six screenings of "A Single Man" Friday through Sunday, April 16-18, in the Little Theatre at Western Michigan University. Show times for "A Single Man" are Friday and Saturday at 7 and 9:30 p.m. and Sunday at 2:30 and 5 p.m. General admission is $5 and $3 for students with a valid Bronco ID Card. "A Single Man" is based on the novel of the same name by Christopher Isherwood. Set in Los Angeles in 1962, at the height of the Cuban missile crisis, it features Colin Firth in his Oscar-nominated role as a British college professor and co-stars Julianne Moore. The film boasts impeccable art direction and outstanding costume design by fashion designer and first-time director/producer Tom Ford. The 2009 film is shown in English. It has a run-time of one hour, 41 minutes and is rated R for some disturbing images, sexual content and nudity.
