Five forums set for IT strategic review

KALAMAZOO--A review of Western Michigan University’s strategic plan for information technology is underway and members of the campus community are invited to attend one or more sessions scheduled through April.

WMU Community Sessions

March 24, 3 to 4:30 p.m., Walwood Hall Commons
March 29, noon to 1:30 p.m., Bernhard Center Brown and Gold Room
April 6, 10 to 11:30 a.m., 210 Bernhard Center
April 15, 5 to 6:30 p.m., 1345 Schneider Hall
April 23, 10 to 11:30 a.m., Bernhard Center Brown and Gold Room

Campus sessions to get input for new Universitywide plan for information technology will be facilitated by Dr. Nancy Schullery, director of undergraduate programs and professor of business information systems in the Haworth College of Business.

A strategic plan for information technology was developed in 2001 to provide specific goals, prioritized actions and recommended guidelines for the optimum use and management of IT resources. The plan has been minimally updated since then. Visit wmich.edu/itplan for more information.
