Haunted Hall benefits local charitiesOct. 23, 2009 KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's Haunted Hall will be crawling with ghouls and ghastly creatures Thursday through Saturday, Oct. 29-31, giving visitors three nights of fright and fun. In the spirit of Halloween, WMU students decorate a residence hall each year, then invite members of the campus community as well as the public to drop by for a tour. This year, tours will be offered from 8 to 10 p.m. Thursday and 8 p.m. to midnight Friday and Saturday in Eldridge-Fox Hall. A Kids Korner, recommended for children age 13 and under, will be open from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday. The entry fee is $5 or two canned goods per person. All food and money collected will be donated to the Kalamazoo Gospel Mission and Big Brothers Big Sisters. The Haunted Hall is sponsored by WMU's Residence Halls Association and Office of Residence Life. Eldridge-Fox Hall is situated off of the University's Ring Road on East Pond Drive at the north end of WMU's main campus. Visit Facilities Management online for interactive and printable campus maps.
