Lecture focuses on language translationJuly 10, 2009 KALAMAZOO--Dr. Peter Krawutschke, professor of German at Western Michigan University, will discuss his vast experience in language translation, in a free public lecture at 5 p.m. Thursday, July 16, in 1003 Brown Hall on the WMU main campus. A past president of the American Translators Association, Krawutschke will discuss the role of the translator in modern society, and critical resources and networks for translators.
