Gold Company performs on 'Oprah'

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's award-winning vocal jazz ensemble, Gold Company, joined by four members of sister ensemble GC II and four Gold Company alums, will perform with pop singing sensation Charice and songwriter and legendary producer David Foster on an upcoming episode of the "Oprah Winfrey Show."

Taping will take place Wednesday, April 29. The national broadcast is expected to air on Monday, May 18.

Joining the WMU contingent in the choir will be six singers unaffiliated with WMU.
