It's so easy being green

March 17, 2009

KALAMAZOO--Josh Dorfman, author of "The Lazy Environmentalist," will speak on "It's so Easy Being Green" from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, March 27, in Room 2304 of Sangren Hall at Western Michigan University. The event is open to the public free of charge.

"Not everyone can harvest rainwater and brew their own bio fuels, but there is no reason each of us couldn't take a few small, easy steps to help the environment," says Joe Orchanian, chair of Students for a Sustainable Earth, which is sponsoring the program.

For two years ending in January 2008, Dorfman was creator, producer and host of "The Lazy Environmentalist" national radio show on Sirius Satellite Radio. He is collaborating with the Sundance Channel to develop the show for television. Dorfman is a frequent guest speaker presenting his message of innovation-based environmentalism to a diverse range of audiences. As a green lifestyle expert, he has appeared on "The Martha Stewart Show," MSNBC and Bravo, among others.
