World-famous comedians perform at Bernhard

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University welcomes funny guys Dan Nainan and Dean Obeidallah to campus for the first International Comedy Night Saturday, Feb. 7.

The show begins at 7 p.m. in the Bernhard Center's East Ballroom. Tickets are $10 and are available by calling (269) 267-8325 or online at ticketleap.com. WMU students, faculty and staff will be admitted free with valid Bronco Cards.

Nainan has performed on NBC's "Last Comic Standing" and "Saturday Night Live." He has done a variety of TV commercials and appeared on radio stations across the nation. He has provided entertainment for a number of political figures in the United States and abroad, and has shared the stage with some of the top comedians in the country, including Jerry Seinfeld, Bob Saget, Tim Conway, Russell Peters and Garry Shandling.

Obeidallah has been featured on several national and international television programs, including Comedy Central's "Axis of Evil" and "The Watch List," ABC's "The View" and "20/20," and CNN's "Inside the Middle East." He can also be seen in a number of PBS specials, including "Stand Up: Muslim American Comics Come of Age."

International Comedy Night at the Bernhard Center is sponsored by the Indian Student Association, Pakistan Student Association, International Programs Council and Japan Club, all registered student organizations.
