Computer repair expands service
June 18, 2008
KALAMAZOO--Computer repair services available at Western Michigan University have expanded considerably. In addition to longstanding service offered for Apple and Dell computers, the WMU Computer Repair Shop is now a manufacturer-authorized repair station for Compaq, Fujitsu and Hewlett Packard, including all warranty repairs.
At the same time that repair services have expanded to include more brands, average turnaround time for repairs has been significantly reduced, to five days, according to Edward Kluk, Office of Information Technology.
Located in 2026 University Computing Center, the shop is open weekdays 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The entrance to the shop can be found at the northwest corner of the computing center building. For more information, contact computer repair at 387-HELP, Option 2.
