Miller announces 40th anniversary season

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University's Miller Auditorium recently announced its 2008-09 season lineup. The 3,485-seat performance venue will bring the best of Broadway and other highly acclaimed musicals, comedies, family shows and dance troupes from around the world to West Michigan in its 40th anniversary season.

2008-09 Broadway shows at Miller Auditorium
"Sweeney Todd"--Sunday, Sept. 28--This Tony Award-winning musical by Stephen Sondheim inspired the 2007 movie about the demon barber of Fleet Street.
"Nunsense"--Sunday, Nov. 2--Catch the 25th anniversary tour of the fast-faced musical comedy starring Sally Struthers.
"Ain't Misbehavin'"--Saturday, Dec. 6--The Tony Award-winning musical starring "American Idol" finalists Ruben Studdard and Frenchie Davis.
"Oliver!"--Friday and Saturday, Jan. 23-24--This family musical brings the best of Charles Dickens' characters and one of Broadway's most memorable scores to the stage.
"Rain: The Beatles Experience"--Friday and Saturday, Feb. 13-14--Experience Beatle-mania.
"The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee"--Wednesday and Thursday, April 22-23--The hilarious Tony Award-winning Broadway hit.
