KALAMAZOO--The inauguration of Western Michigan University's eighth president, Dr. John M. Dunn, is set for 4 p.m. in Miller Auditorium on the WMU campus. The event is open to the public free of charge.
Final details have been announced for those planning to attend and for those who are unable to attend but want to listen or watch from afar.
Ample seating in Miller Auditorium is expected and no tickets are needed to attend.
A post-inaugural reception will follow the ceremony in Miller Auditorium's Grand Tier Lobby.
Arrangements for WMU faculty and delegates
Delegates from around the country and WMU faculty who are taking part in the formal academic procession will have a chance to meet and talk prior to the ceremony at a pre-inaugural reception hosted for them by Dunn, beginning at 2 p.m. in the Gilmore Theatre Complex Atrium.
Faculty members who need to pick up ordered regalia, may do so in the Shaw Theatre Green Room at 3 p.m. Monday. The procession will form there as well.
