Campus network outages early Thursday morning

Jan. 15, 2008

KALAMAZOO--Many online services at Western Michigan University will be unavailable intermittently between 3 and 7 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 17, including the University's primary e-mail service, ECS webmail, and secure intranet portal, GoWMU.

Other affected services are e-learning, also known as Blackboard Vista, and imap.wmich.edu. Students, faculty and staff are urged not to use these services between 3 and 7 a.m. Thursday, even if a service appears to be operational, because it could result in lost work or files.

If you have any questions or problems, please call the Help Desk at (269) 387-HELP. If you call when the Help Desk is closed, please leave a detailed message and your contact information.
