Carole Lint

Carole Lint, a recently retired Human Resources clerk at Western Michigan University, died Nov. 24 in Kalamazoo. She was 66.

Lint retired in January 2007 after more than 23 years of service to the University. While employed at WMU, she was active in the Professional Support Staff Organization.

A native of Kalamazoo, Lint was born Oct. 25, 1941, the daughter of the late Ray and Florence (Waldo) Slater. She was a member of the First Free Will Baptist Church of Comstock, Mich., and past-president of the Fraternal Order of Eagles Aerie #526. She was preceded in death by her husband of 36 years, Daniel Lint, and is survived by her five children and several grandchildren and great grandchildren, among others.

A memorial service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Langeland Family Funeral Home Memorial Chapel, 622 S. Burdick St. Visitation is at the same location from 6 to 8 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 29.
