Campus community gets huge "Cirque Dreams" discounts

Nov. 14, 2007

KALAMAZOO--Western Michigan University faculty, staff and students are invited to attend the upcoming "Cirque Dreams" production at discounts of up to 72 percent off the regular ticket price.

Following last spring's sold-out performance, "Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy" will make an encore appearance in Miller Auditorium at 7 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 1. Tickets are just $25 for all current WMU faculty members, staff and students, and the standard campus discounts will be applied. The final cost to students is $12.50 and $21.25 for faculty and staff. Discounted tickets are available at (269) 387-2300 or in person at the Miller Auditorium Ticket Office.

Produced by Cirque Productions and artistic director Neil Goldberg, "Cirque Dreams Jungle Fantasy" combines striking visual and special effects to conjure up a colorful dream in an enchanted forest. Accompanied by an original score and troupe of musicians, an international cast of aerialists, contortionists and other vine-swinging characters brings this jungle fantasy to life on stage and in the air. The show will incorporate favorite selections from previous productions with all-new scenes and choreography.
