Below are reports from the two WMU aviators, beginning with
their departure from Oklahoma City. Click on the date for
the complete report.
June 22, St. John, New Brunswick--We
made it to the finish line! We landed in St. John mid-morning,
completing the 2007 Air Race Classic.
June 21, Bangor, Maine--We
got off to a late start in West Virginia due to early morning
fog, and were asked to do a live radio interview while we waited.
June 20, Lewisburg, W.Va.--The
trip to Lewisburg was a new experience. The rolling hills of
eastern Kentucky and West Virginia provided a scenic flight.
June 19, Jefferson City, Mo.--We
departed Oklahoma City at 8:30 a.m. Our Cirrus out ran quite
a few other planes.
June 18, Oklahoma City--We
visited the 99s Museum and the Bricktown district of Oklahoma
City. The Air Race Classic kicks-off at 8 a.m. tomorrow.
